Meet The Team

Practice Manager, Director & Founder – Lisa
Lisa has over 34 years of experience in Veterinary nursing. She started Woodlands Veterinary Centre Bedworth 19 years ago followed by the Burbage and Hinckley Branch.

 Head Veterinary Surgeon – Jenny
Jenny has many years experience as a Veterinary Surgeon. On a daily basis, Jenny performs many routine, and complexed soft tissue surgeries. 
Jenny has many years of experience and is often found performing acupuncture on her many patients. Rescue dogs Badger and Peaches take up most of Jenny’s spare time, along with her pony Marmite.

Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Lesley
Lesley graduated  from Edinburgh university. Lesley’s interests have always been Medicine, especially Dermatology.

Lesley lives locally and shares her home with Max, an 15 year old black labrador, who is totally spoilt!

Veterinary Surgeon – Samuel
Sam has just joined Woodlands 2 years ago and is already proving to be a great asset. Sam is an experienced veterinary surgeon with a passion for medicine.

Veterinary Surgeon – Nina 
Nina has a many years of experience and knowledge in veterinary medicine and surgery. Nina is based at our Hinckley centre. In her spare time she can be found at home with her little boy looking after their many ponies.

Veterinary Surgeon – Owen 
Owen joined in 2016, he is interested in small animal soft tissue surgery and medicine. He has recently taken on a stay cat and her kitten from us and a new house.

Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Louise
Louise will be joining Woodlands in July 2017 and brings with her a lot of medical and surgical experience.

Nursing Director – Kim
Kim has over 38 years experience in Veterinary nursing and has worked at Woodlands for the last 19 years. Kim is responsible for the Nursing team, the Students and the completion of all client insurance forms.

Kim enjoys spending time with her family, Scruff their  Jack Russell and her horses Tommy and Saffron, Cloudy and Lilly.

Head Veterinary Nurse – Laura 
Laura has joined us from another local practice and has taken over the role of Head Nurse.

Veterinary Nurse – May
May had been a veterinary nurse with Woodlands for the last 15 years and has now sadly retired. But although retired May now again drops in to help the team.

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Danni
Danni has been part of Woodlands for the last 11 years, she enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing and currently runs our free weight clinics

Relaxing for Danni is spending time with her family and young son Mason.

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Laura
Laura always has a smile and a gentle hand for the clients and their pets, she has a very gentle nature.

Veterinary Nurse & Head Receptionist – Lisa
Lisa joined Woodlands over 6 years ago and has become a valuable asset, she always has time for a cuddle with each patient no matter how busy she gets. Lisa has a big heart and an even bigger personality to go with it.

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Sam
Sam joined Woodlands a couple of months ago after working at another local practice. She has many years of experience and loves running nurse clinics.

Veterinary Nurse – Vicki
Vicki has been with Woodlands for the past year, she has just got back from her honeymoon and is about to finish her final exams.

 Veterinary Nurse – Jessica
Jessica joined us from another local practice. She is a valuable asset and has fitted right in with the team.

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Katie
Katie has been qualified many years and has  a lot of experience in surgical and medical nursing.

Receptionist – Andrea
Andrea has been our reception at Bedworth for the last few months and is doing a great job, she is a big lover of bunnies.

Receptionist – Laiken 
Laiken has returned to Woodlands as a receptionist,  its great to have Laiken back as she worked for Woodlands 7 years ago.

Veterinary House Keeper – Mandy Granger
Mandy is the mother to all of us, we always have clean fresh bedding for all the animals and plenty of tea for the staff.

Mandy can be found at home in her spare time looking after daisy (fat cat) as Mandy calls her, as she is always on a diet.
